There is a blessing and a responsibility in having a Bible.

No one can achieve forgiveness through the law.

We are all sinners in desperate need of a savior.

But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

"But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

1 I ask, then, has God rejected his people, the Jews' Of course not! Remember that I myself am a Jew, a descendant of Abraham and a member of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 No, God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning. Do you remember what the Scriptures say about this' Elijah the prophet complained to God about the people of Israel and said,

And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (because Claudius had commanded all the Jews to depart from Rome); and he came to them.

1 Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more kindness and forgiveness' 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it'

So since God's grace has set us free from the law, does this mean we can go on sinning' Of course not!

But the Scriptures have declared that we are all prisoners of sin, so the only way to receive God's promise is to believe in Jesus Christ.

45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you -- Moses, in whom you trust.46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me.47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words'"

The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good.
